Card Testing Equipment
Card testing is an important part of card manufacturing.  Quality, which has always been a concern for card suppliers and demands for governments, institutions and card issuers, is getting stronger and stronger.

BG INGENIERIE has developed a series of mechanical card testing devices to answer the increasing needs in quality: CQM, MasterCard® recommendations, ANSI 322, ISO7816, ISO10373, ISO24789, etc... specifications dedicated to card quality.  It is sometimes not easy to figure out which test has to be applied to each type of cards.

BG INGENIERIE already works with the largest players in the card industry and is here to fulfill customer demands and supply testing devices for these specifications, or for specific requirements.

Impact Corner Testing Equipment

The BGI055 tests the corner impact resistance for the different layers of ID1 cards.

3 Wheel 1 Axis ID1Testing Equipment x 1

The BGI058 3 wheels test is derived directly from MasterCard® recommendation.  The equipment tests the resistance of the contact chip of ID1 card bodies when crushed between 3 wheels. The BGI058 performs this test on «x» axis.

Peel Strength Pre-cutting Tool

The BGI076A is a pre-cutting tool for ID1 cards.  The pre-cuttings create blades of overlay on the card, which enables each blade to be easily pulled with the pliers of the BGI076 peel strength testing equipment.

Warpage

The BGI077 checks the warpage of a card after production with a test height of 1.5mm (0.059”).

Embossed Card Warpage

The BGI077e checks the warpage of embossed cards after production with a test height of 2.5mm (0.098”).
